Privacy Policy

At YTindir we collect as little data as possible and keep it only briefly. This page explains what we store, why and for how long.

1. Data we collect

• Guests: video ID, title, chosen format, date and job status. To enforce the hourly quota we keep an irreversible hash of your IP address; the IP itself is stored with the record for at most 90 days and used only for abuse investigation.
• Session cookie: a strictly necessary cookie links the jobs you start to your browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Members: email address, optional name, an irreversible hash of your password (bcrypt), sign-up and last login dates, and your download history.

2. Files

Prepared MP3/MP4 files are served through a temporary link only you can access and are deleted from the server automatically after 60 minutes. File contents are not analysed or shared with third parties.

3. Server logs

Technical logs (request path, error message, time) are kept briefly for debugging. They are not used to identify people.

4. Third parties

Video information and content are fetched directly from YouTube servers, where YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. There are no ad networks, analytics or social media trackers on this site. Thumbnails are loaded from i.ytimg.com.

5. Your rights

• You can delete your account and all of your data instantly from the My account page.
• Contact the site admin to access, correct or delete your data.
• Your rights under GDPR and similar laws are preserved.

6. Security

Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are never stored in plain text and download links are accessible only to the session that created them.

7. Changes

Changes to this policy are published on this page. Important changes are announced in a banner on the site.
