Is YTindir free?
Yes. There are no fees, ads or hidden subscriptions. Guests get 3 downloads per hour, free members get 10.
Which formats and qualities are supported?
Audio: MP3 128 kbps and 320 kbps; video: MP4 360p, 720p HD and 1080p Full HD. The estimated file size of every option is shown before downloading.
Can I download on iPhone / iPad?
Yes. Prepare the file in Safari and tap “Download”; Safari saves it to the Downloads folder in the Files app. Add the site to your home screen to use it like an app.
Can I download long videos?
Guests can download videos up to 30 minutes, free members up to 1 hour. These limits keep server resources fair for everyone.
How long are my files kept on the server?
Prepared files can be downloaded for 60 minutes, then they are deleted automatically. Your history keeps only the title and format.
Why can’t a video be downloaded?
Private, age-restricted and members-only videos as well as live streams cannot be downloaded. If YouTube is rate limiting requests, try again in a few minutes.
What about copyright?
Only download content you own or have permission to use, for personal use. Responsibility lies with the user; see the Terms of Service.
Do MP3 files include cover art and tags?
Yes. The video thumbnail, title and channel name are embedded into MP3 files, so they look right in music apps.
Can I download a playlist?
Currently only single videos are downloaded. If you paste a playlist link, the video in that link is used.
How can I support the site?
We show no ads; server costs are covered by donations. Send any amount to the ETH / ERC-20 address on the Support page.
